Don't do it. The humidity and temperature swings will cause them to rust and self-destruct. Find a place indoors. Even your garage may be better, but not much.

I would say no. Condensed moisture will get inside unless your storage is airtight waterproof or vacuum. I doubt it will be good for your equipment also because of temperature fluctuations.
